Scene Works!

For 11-14 Year olds

120min weekly class: 140 Dhs per class payable in advance for the term

90 min weekly class: 105 Dhs per class payable in advance for the term

Scene Works! is our beginner / intermediate Acting Program that will challenge the young thespian, no matter what previous performance experience they may have.

The performers will work on scenes, short plays & improvisation with focused instruction throughout to improve their skills and sharpen their talent.

What will I learn in Scene Works?

  • Reinforce basic acting skills
  • Learn new acting skills - focus on posture, using your voice etc.
  • Working with two or more people in a scene, blocking, and improvisation
  • An introduction to monologues & Shakespeare
  • Improvisation games and exercises to get the actors imagination and creativity flowing
  • Learning to building strong three dimensional characters
  • Learn to work with a script, and how to make the most of what is given to you by the playwright
